KBSH LEADERS TRUST - Declares Monthly Distribution Toronto, October 4th, 2005: KBSH Leaders Trust (KLT.UN), an investment trust trading on The Toronto Stock Exchange, announced today that it will make a monthly distribution of $0.14083 per unit, payable on October 31st, 2005, to all Unitholders of record as of October 17th, 2005 (ex-dividend date October 13th, 2005). The distribution represents an annualized rate of approximately 11.9% of the current net asset value of the Trust. As announced on September 23, 2005, a plan for the liquidation, dissolution and winding up of the Trust will be presented to the Unitholders at a special Unitholder meeting that will be held on or about November 23, 2005. Given the timing of the meeting, no distribution will be made in November. Should the plan not be approved in November, distributions will resume in December at an annualized rate of approximately 10% of the then current net asset value of the Trust.
